I have visited the place that you mentioned, and while I have no doubt as to the sincerity of your claim, Ocker must insist that this is not the Buderim that I had been told once existed.
That Garden of Eden (of which the word "budrim" is the aboriginal translation) with its sacred bamboo groves and fertile plantations of all manner of exotic fruit could in no way be confused with your suburb, to which I have ascribed the name "Crestmead Mews", subject to approval of the Place Names Board of QLD.
I can only attribute this confusion to a fault in GPS (Global Positioning Software) and I have submitted a request for amendment (RFA) to a Mr Bill Gates of Microsoft Corporation, who I am led to believe is a competent programmer.
I shall keep you apprised of further developments on this subject.
